Peter Broderick - Paradigm Consulting
A leading distribution strategist, Peter consults with filmmakers and media companies to develop strategies to maximize distribution, audiences, and revenues. He was previously President of Next Wave Films, which helped launch the careers of Christopher Nolan and other exceptionally talented filmmakers. A key player in the growth of the ultra-low budget feature movement, Broderick has become one of the most influential advocates of digital moviemaking.

Marc Rosenbush – Internet Marketing for Filmmakers
Marc is an independent filmmaker based in LA who has become the foremost expert on finding fans for films. His first film, Zen Noir (2004), made more than $80,000 in 10 days using internet marketing strategies. Marc founded Internet Marketing for Filmmakers to help filmmakers everywhere to find their niche audiences and to take the power and revenue back into their own hands. He is now prepping to shoot his 2nd feature film.

Danae Ringelmann – Indiegogo, Co-Founder
Danae co-founded IndieGoGo to democratize fundraising.  She brings finance and entertainment industry expertise, and Fast Company Magazine recently named her one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Technology. Danae is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.  Danae graduated with a B.A. in Humanities from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar and varsity rower.

Fernanda Rossi - The Documentary Doctor
Fernanda is an internationally renowned speaker, author, and story consultant who has doctored over 300 documentaries, scripts, and fundraising trailers including the 2009 Academy Award® nominated The Garden by Scott Hamilton Kennedy and the 2007 Academy Award® nominated Recycled Life by Leslie Iwerks. In addition to private consultations, lectures, and seminars worldwide, she has served as festival juror and grant panelist. She is the author of the book Trailer Mechanics: A Guide to Making your Documentary Fundraising Trailer.

Ingrid Kopp - Shooting People - US
Ingrid began her career in the Documentaries department at Channel 4 Television in the UK. While there she worked across original commissions and documentary acquisitions and ran a series of workshops for emerging filmmakers. She currently writes about film, social media and technology for various publications and teaches Digital Bootcamp workshops for filmmakers, focusing on audience engagement. She also works as a documentary programming consultant for film festivals, broadcasters and foundations.


Carole Dean - From the Heart Productions
Carole is a well-loved name in the Independent film world for her advocacy and support of the true Indie filmmaker. She is the creator of the Roy W. Dean film grants which have given over 2 million dollars in donations since since 1992. She has worked with thousands of filmmakers in consultations and seminars, and also been an Executive and Associate Producer on many projects. Carole's specialty is connecting filmmakers to their message, and helping them clarify their needs and goals in order to raise the needed financing for their films.

Morrie Warshawski is a fundraising consultant, facilitator and writer whose work is characterized by a commitment to the core values of creativity, thoughtfulness, tolerance and transparency. He is the author of SHAKING THE MONEY TREE: HOW TO GET GRANTS AND DONATIONS FOR FILM AND VIDEO, and THE FUNDRAISING HOUSEPARTY; and articles in a number of publications (Grantmakers in the Arts Newsletter, San Francisco Examiner, Foundation News and many others).
John Trigonis is a poet, filmmaker and teacher. His first crowdfunded short, CERISE, successfully raised $1,300 over its goal of $5,000, of which almost 70% of the donations were from total strangers. A Pushcart Prize-nominated poet, John has published work in a variety of literary journals across the globe. Between 1999 and 2006, he was an active force in the NY/NJ spoken word poetry scene. He’s currently at work on his latest chapbook, Warehouse City Blues, due out in January.

Jon Spira is an award-winning short filmmaker based in Oxford, England who is in the midst of a very successful Indiegogo campaign for his film "Anyone Can Play Guitar" and so far has raised over 16K. Trained at the Scottish Film School in Edinburgh, he works as a writer and film teacher. He has taught the UK Film Council's flagship Intro to Screenwriting course and is currently the head screenwriting tutor and script editor for The Writers' Workshop. Jon has made many music videos for the Oxford music scene, which led him to the mission of completely independently making his feature doc "Anyone Can Play Guitar".

CO-HOST Hank Rogerson is an actor, filmmaker and teacher.  He has most recently been seen as an actor on the TV series IN PLAIN SIGHT, CRASH and SCOUNDRELS.  His award-winning filmmaking credits include SHAKESPEARE BEHIND BARS, HOMELAND, and CIRCLE OF STORIES.  He is a two time Sundance Institute Fellow and is the co-founder of DocuMentors. He currently teaches at Santa Fe University of Art and
Jilann Spitzmiller CO-HOST Jilann Spitzmiller is an award-winning filmmaker, teacher and consultant who co-founded DocuMentors, a web site dedicated to the art and business of documentary filmmaking.  Her credits include SHAKESPEARE BEHIND BARS, CRITICAL CONDITION and HOMELAND. She is a 3 time recipient of ITVS funding, two time Sundance Documentary Fund awardee and has also received major funding from the BBC, the Open Society Institute and the Roy W. Dean Grants.
